Family Entrepreneurship

From curb-side lemonade stands to church-wide bake sales, family-friendly communities have long seen the importance of teaching children principals of entrepreneurship as a part of their upbringing. Productive men and women in society are made, in part, from aspiring boys and girls who have been taught to be productive in the home. At the Kinnard Family Homestead, we try to include our kids as often as we can in our homesteading work in order to teach them valuable character-building lessons including responsibility, ingenuity, frugality, perseverance, delayed gratification, and cheerful giving. As you peruse through many of our item descriptions, you will learn about how our kids are being involved in the production of that particular item.
